TOURISM INDUSTRY IN
THE STATE AZAD JAMMU & KASHMIR
The industry of tourism in The State
of Azad Jammu & Kashmir has a bright future due to the having many tourist destinations, different climates, sky-high
mountains, lush-green forest, beautiful landscapes, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, lakes, dams, natural land, multicultural cities,
snowfall areas, snow covered hills, fruit orchards and educated Kashmiries host.
Tourism industry is considered to
be money magnet in most of countries in the world. And The State of Azad Jammu & Kashmir is a hub of all sort of tourism
attractions, safari tours, city tours, mountain tours including modern cities, the meeting point of old civilization in the
world, buzzing commercial areas, rich natural assets and historical places. The
safari tours can be the most attractive for the tourist from all over the world because having world’s beautiful Greenland,
famous “ The paradise on the earth”. But there is only need to implicate
the planning and provide modern facilities to all tourist attraction places like chairlift, air blooming, jeep safari, couch
safari and mule riding etc.
The tourism in The State of Azad
Jammu & Kashmir has bleak situations due to apathy and non-professional of the tourist authorities concerned. The main
reasons for this curse is the indifferent, unprofessional and careless attitude of the tourism department of The State of
Azad Jammu & Kashmir Government.
Travel agents and tour operators
are crying out for help and improvements due to apathy of officials. Many tourist
places have been developed for the promotion of tourism. Private tour operators have also many exclusive tour packages, tours
variety, high standard residences, places, new destinations, adventures, guidance booklets, and other travel services. As they can bring millions of dollars to the country in the foreign exchange.
The tourism department of AJK Government
has never taken task seriously. The lack of interest shown by the tourist information
centers in many places of The State of Azad Jammu & Kashmir is another aspect of the in-difference.
The AJK Government
would be inject to tourism industry in order to provide soft conditions loans, study materials of tourist attractions, historical
info literature, geographical information, weather conditions, climate, aerial view snaps, maps and modern transport facilities
like luxury cars, boat, parachutes, air bloom etc.
